Active Combustion Control for Goodrich and the U.S. Air Force

MitekAn has sucessfully completed a subcontract to Goodrich in the U.S. Air Force Research Lab funded 2009 Active Combustion Control System (ACCS) project.

Active control strategies are meant to suppress thermo-acoustic instabilities. Goodrich and MitekAn have produced ACCS real-time control software for the estimation, control and reduction of such combustion instabilities. Using the experimental data, MitekAn analyzed and improved existing algorithms, has modeled the systems, and developed simulations of the closed-loop system.
