Active Combustion Control for Goodrich and the U.S. Air Force

MitekAn is working with Goodrich as a subcontractor on the U.S. Air Force Research Lab funded 2009 Active Combustion Control System (ACCS) project.

Active control strategies are meant to suppress thermo-acoustic instabilities. Goodrich and MitekAn are producing ACCS real-time control software for the estimation, control and reduction of such combustion instabilities. From the experimental data, MitekAn analyzed and improved existing algorithms, and from that has modeled and developed simulations of a closed-loop system.
