Software Consultant/Contractor

We are looking for a part-time contractor (consultant) to develop and grow the open source and commercial version of our enterprise analytical software application. The decision, data processing, optimization, machine learning and data mining analytics developed as separate efforts. The Java EE integration framework is based on GlassFish technology stack with database persistency and JSF web-based GUI. This is a part time contract position that has a long term potential to grow with the business. We are working with Stanford, NASA, US Air Force, GE, and other industrial companies on cutting edge advanced analytics-driven technologies.

Experience with Java EE, Web Services, and XML is required. GlassFish experience is highly desirable as well as some exposure to analytical applications. An ability to maintain and develop software architecture and formulate the development path from high-level requirements is desirable. Some exposure to Matlab-developed algorithm integration would be helpful. The candidate should be located in San Francisco Bay area.
